America:

Last week, hurricane swept through Puerto Rico. It decimated the island, many people in the island lost their homes. Public infrastructures were damaged such as power lines, power stations, water service facilities, buildings, roads, telecom communication,etc. This week, the US got another hurricane that swept through southern coastal states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida. Florida was destroyed heavily because the hurricane changed its trajectory quickly that Florida local governments couldn’t notify in time for people, so they could evacuate early. There are 74 people death in Florida right now, but the numbers may go higher because rescuers still look for victims.

Europe:

The war in Ukraine goes to a dangerous stage when Russia annexed four more regions of Ukraine. Ukraine expedited in the process of NATO application, many Western allies apply more sanctions on Russia. Putin called for partial mobilization, many Russians tried to flee out of Russia to avoid conscription. The pipelines that connected gas from Russia to Germany had been leaked by sabotage. Both sides point their fingers to others, environment activists condemned the sabotage.

Asia:

The typhoon made the landfall in central coastal Vietnam after it swept through Philippine. Vietnam government utilized military, police, Vietnamese coast guards and emergency rescuers to help people in needs. Before the typhoon made the landfall, Vietnamese government evacuated people in the affected areas. Curfews, school and airports closed. Rescue and relief operation are still going on. We don’t know about number victims in Vietnam.

Football rioters caused tragic event in Indonesia history. The tragic event began when the rival football club won the home team club. Home team supporters poured into the pitch, police used teargas to disperse people in the pitch. Many people in the stadium panicked, they stepped and pushed others to find the ways to get out of the stadium. The latest figure is 125 people died downward from 174 and hundred injuries. Indonesia president cancelled all football matches. The most of victims died from suffocation and crush.
