No one could believe that Assad’s regime collapsed quickly in less than two weeks of offense from radical Islamic groups. There might be a secret deal between Iran and Turkey. Why did Assad flee to Russia, not Iran? Two months earlier before the collapse of Assad’s regime, the Turkish foreign minister and the Iranian foreign minister met to seal the fate of Assad.
The Turkish president is an Islamic Brotherhood sympathizer. He wanted to revive Islamization in the region where Turkey is a leader. That was why Turkey rushed to cooperate with the new Islamic regime in Damascus. Turkey uses this Islamic regime to destroy the Kurdish autonomy in Syria. This regime will support Islamization in Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon. When all regimes surrounding Israel become radical, Israel may not survive. Even though Iran and Turkey are not friendly to one another, they have the same enemy Israel. Iran doesn’t border with Syria, so the new regime in Damascus doesn’t bother them. It helps Iran save money and human resources for its survival. In addition, the new Damascus regime fights Israel for Iran. Israel knew the clandestine so It destroyed all weapons from Assad’s regime and set up a buffer zone to secure its border.
One country abandoning its friendly country for survival is not unprecedented in history. Friends abandon their best friends all the time. Syrians should look at Iranians, they have been suffering from Islamic Iran’s regime for more than 45 years. Syrians had suffered more than 50 years under Assad’s regime. If they don’t rise up from the current Islamic regime they may suffer a few more decades. Look at Afghanistan under Taliban’s rule.
