I fell in love with soccer since Mexico 86. I remember the Mexico 86 matches occurred in mid night of my native country, but my parents had rules for their children: go on bed before 9:30 PM. We went to bed on time but we waited until my parents fell asleep and we sneaked out of home to go to our neighbors to watch live football matches. At that time, no one in the city of my native country had color TV, we watched live football matches in black and white TV. Since Mexico 86, Football (outside North America, people call soccer is football) is the part of my life entertainment. I don’t know why many of my American friends changed their favorite sport from soccer to football, but I can’t change my favorite sport.

Long time ago, soccer was entertainment and friendship purposes, now it is the big business and economy. Many European leagues contribute for their economies such as England, Germany, Spain, etc. People who love soccer as their favorite sport tend to know more other countries and the world than others. Please share your favorite sports in your countries.
