Propaganda is a word to describe the media showing audience one side of story that the media just wants audience to see. As a person was born and grew up in the East and have lived in the West for many years, I can say that propaganda exists in two places.
The medias often use propaganda to target their rivals by influence their audience to believe the bad images represent for their rivals such as discrimination, racism, political persecution, homelessness, mental illness, poverty, etc. Medias often narrow the few bad images of their enemies and twisted. For example, I have agenda to target my enemy, I only tell people all about bad images of my enemy to persuade my audience to believe my enemy is bad. People always say that good people are extinct. People who have less badness become good people.
People should avoid propaganda by listening two sides of story and do some researches before make any judgements.
