Basic Knowledge For International Travelers.

International and domestic traveling is different a lot. Unlike domestic traveling, international traveling needs a lot of documents before travelers can buy airplane tickets, train, or bus tickets.

What documents do international travelers need to have?

  • Passport: All international travelers need to have passports before traveling. You can do a passport in your country. For example, if you are a US citizen, you can do a passport at the Department of State or post office. If you are a permanent resident (Green card holder), you can go to your country’s embassy office in the US to do a passport.
  • Visa: Visa is an official document that the country’s destination allows you to enter the country. There are many types of Visas such as work visa, traveling visa, business visa or immigration visa. In this article, I only explain about traveling visa. It depends on what destination you travel to. For example, if you are a US citizen, you can travel the most of countries without applying for Visa. It is called the Visa On Arrival, which means when you travel to the border of the destination country. The country issues a visa at the border for you. It depends on the visa bilateral agreement between your country and the destination country. Otherwise, you must obtain a visa at the destination embassy by online or go there.

In the Covid 19 pandemic, many destination countries require travelers to have health insurance, and a Covid vaccine certificate or a Covid test 24 hours before traveling. I hope this article can help you to understand international traveling. Please leave a comment below if you have any questions.
